Concept
When I painted this piece I was thinking about 'brothers'. Similar and unique at the same time. With common roots and different aspirations. Family and friends all the same. This is what inspired the color clashes of this abstract landscape, with its gold, black and beige tones. I particularly enjoy the atmosphere of energy and peacefulness, that it creates.
Technique
This original mixed media artwork is made with acrylic colors, metallic pigments, gesso, resins mixed with sands. The yellow color has metallic golden pigments in it, and it shines under proper lightning conditions. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
Size and support
Size: 30x20x0.3" (76.2x50.8x0.3cm) on aluminum Dibond board. It's signed on the back and ready to hang.
