Concept
This textured abstract piece is part of a series named 'Days of the wave'. It's inspired by the energy and power I feel in the earth, in tree roots expanding on cement, in corals branching out from the reef rocks. Once again. Stronger.
It's around the idea of coming back to life, something I feel I (we?) need so much in this complex and fragile time.

Mixed media artwork, made with acrylic colors, paper, polyurethane, pearlescent pigments, inks.
Size and support
Size: 14.2x19.7x0.04 (36x50x0.1cm) on heavyweight (300 g/m2) Canson paper (grain torchon, 60% cotton).
It's signed on the back and mounted on extra thick off white mount (with white core and backing card).
